I get asked this question a lot. Most think it's a very expensive camera and all this fancy equipment. All this does is "help". My answer to the question is.... Desire, hunger and love.
Before you jump in I suggest reading as much material as you can find. There are many magazines, online teachings and photography/camera stores in your area. This is where the hunger comes into play. You will only be as good as your knowledge so hunger for more. Learn something new each day. Practice, practice, practice and practice some more. Then love what you do. Don't take it for granted. Stay humble, respect the craft and it will reward you in many different ways
