Moments by Moye was started in 2009. I was very unhappy with the service and demeanor of some photographers in the business. It was more about the equipment that was used, the name brand or hottest item on the market rather than the customer. I didn't feel like there was a personal connection between the client and the photographer. One shouldn't feel like they are working for the photographer or shouldn't be in awe because he or she has been a professional for 10 years or more. Anyone can take a picture, but it's the relationship that develpos and quality of service that is important. So I decided to capture the moments, after all, these are what memories are made of. As a photographer we have the unique opportunity of being invited into a person's life, to take special care of a particular event that only happen once in a lifetime. I decided I wanted to be that type of photographer. One who not only shares in every smile, but also helps to create that lasting memory. The type of photographer you trust and remember for years to come.

I have been shooting for several years now. I started doing events for block parties and eventually my church. I really fell in love with photography when I noticed the joy people had when they saw themselves in a photograph. I love capturing people and making them look and feel their best even when they don't think they are photogenic. I love night photography because the camera has a way of turning what you see into something magical. And of course capturing little children in their playful ways. Brides are the best. When they see themselves on their wedding day, it’s a Cinderella story come true.
